Undergraduates:  consider applying for an REU!  REU stands for "Research Experience for Undergraduates"  -- essentially, you spend 6 - 9 weeks conducting mathematical research full-time with a small group of highly-motivated bright students, under the guidance of a research mentor (usually a professor)... and you even get paid (often handsomely) for the privilege.  Room and board are typically part of the deal:  this is a good chance to spend some time in another part of the country, or even the world, while learning to create mathematics.

Participate in an REU at CSUCI. Look for a different REU in the U.S.  Consider an REU in Brazil (Portuguese not needed)
