- If f(z) is differentiable on a domain D of the complex plane, then f(z) is uniquely determined by its values along any line in D. TRUE
- If f(z) is differentiable in the entire complex plane, then its line integral along any closed curve is zero. TRUE
- If an analytic function defined on the closed unit disk has a maximum value at z=(1/2, 1/2), its value at z=(0,0) can be any complex number.
- Class Atmosphere, as determined by you:
- Students seek out presentation opportunities to gain comfort and expertise.
- Presenters make presentations interesting and accessible to listeners.
- Presenters engage listeners by asking them questions or having them work on small activities.
- Listeners pay attention, don't look bored, and don't have side conversations.
- Listeners are patient while presenters figure things out--don't "help" prematurely.
- Listeners who offer suggestions explain rather than instruct.
- Listeners restrict themselves to at most two "helpings" per presentation unless there are unusual circumstances.
- Listeners stay focused and ready to participate at any moment.
- Listeners ask questions when they don't understand something (this also helps the presenter make better presentations).
